Significant Achievements

CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Thirdwave's Content Management System provides a method for tagging content with keywords and categories.  This allows for the display of related content and more advanced searching on the front-end of the site. The single instance of the CMS supports both the public site and education site for Japan Society.

EVENT CALENDAR
A Flash calendar allows users to navigate through events by clicking on active dates.  Events are categorized by type and series and can have multiple occurances.  Registration is provided for free events and ticketing links to tickets.com are provided for those with a fee.

ONLINE DONATIONS
Visitors can donate to Japan Society in a number of ways - through membership, patron groups or one time donations.  Credit cards are securely processed on the site.

WEBCASTS AND VIDEO CONTENT

Thirdwave developed a custom Flash video player that works with live streaming video as well as archived FLVs.  Chapters within the archived videos can be linked to in HTML content via anchor tags.
