CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Thirdwave's Content Management System drives the content for both the Intranet and public site of Lake Forest Hospital. In some cases, content is shared between the two. The CMS also provides tools for managing events, physicians, and work order requests submitted via the Intranet.
E-COMMERCE
E-commerce is spread throughout the Lake Forest Hospital site. Patients can securely submit payments for their accounts, purchase flowers and gifts for current patients, and register for classes.
EVENT AND CLASS REGISTRATION MODULE WITH SECURE CREDIT CARD PROCESSING
Editors can add events with multiple dates or a specific date range, associate the event with specific categories, allow registration, and limit the numer of registrants. If an event allows registration and has an associated cost, users can pay for the event with a credit card on the site.
PHYSICIAN MANAGER
Over 800 physician profiles are managed via this tool. Their complete bio can be edited including their associated photo, clinic locations, insurance accepted, clinical interests and so on. Clinic locations are displayed using the Google Maps API.
ECARDS
This is a Flash/Flex based tool for building and sending ecards. Users can choose an animation, customize the card and when they're ready to send it, it takes a snapshot of the final frame of the animation and emails it to the recipient with a link to the full animation on the Lake Forest Hospital website.
